So I didn’t know that june was pride month until it rolled around this year and I’ve had such an amazing time getting to go to a pride festival in Atlanta and meeting people who are so open and comfortable with themselves while I was there. And while I was there I got to say something that I’ve never had the courage to say out loud to anyone. Growing up in a home like mine I learned to kind of check myself at the door around my family and censor my speech when it came to topics about the LGBTQ+ community. I feel like I’m ready to say this. I am a bisexual female.
